I am going to take you on a journey from 1826, the beginning of photography, through present day. We will cover: the basics of photography, what causes a black and white image to be magical, what makes a great black and white image, and the various types of light and how they can change an image. We will discuss what you can add to your black and white images that will set them apart. I will also cover the basics of lighting situations and settings for each.
