Hey hey hey! My name is Ksenia Belanger. I am a mother of two young boys, ages four and six. I have been married for nine years living in North Carolina. I was born in Russia and my mama insisted on me drawing from a multitude of cultural identities via the numerous theatres, museums, and conventions in order to shine at life. This exposure to the arts sparked the imagination within and really encouraged me to follow my dreams of being a photographer.
Drawing inspiration from the creative genius of Johannes Vermeer and Annie Leibovitz, my camerawork lends itself to lifestyle and fine art.
When approached to create a course for Unraveled, regarding my photography, I leapt at the chance. As a mostly self-taught shutterbug, it was disheartening at times the number of mistakes I made. However, my intrinsic stubbornness and the experience of those around me enabled me to move forward. With any luck, I can show others what took me months / years to learn assisting in their growth and love of the field.
