Jo is a classically trained oil painter and has created a unique way of practicing oil painting from life. It’s a relatively inexpensive and portable way of sketching with oil paints. She uses the system herself and then stores her sketches in a book.

3. A six step process to completing the sketch including:
How to organise your paints and mix them.
Creating the outline.
Applying tones.
Blending colours.
Adding the details.
4. How to sketch a green apple using the process.
The project is to sketch a green apple, it’s been designed so that you get an understanding of how everything works. After which you are then free to try and sketch anything you like knowing you have a process that you can rely on.
