Learn to illustrate with different patterns, hatching and strokes in Illustrator and Photoshop. Illustrator and art director Abraham Garcia, who has worked for brands such as Harley Davidson, Jack Daniel’s or Volkswagen, will teach you how to create illustrations using the technique of blending (or shading using parallel lines) with Illustrator and Photoshop. This effect helps to bring strength and expressiveness to the image and, in the words of Abraham, “it is a good addition to the repertoire of any designer”. During the course, you will learn the basics of this technique through different exercises and design a whiskey label, a project that will allow you to discover the process of Abraham’s illustration from beginning to end practicing illustration techniques, composition, typographic treatment and color.
