Whether I make drawings for clients, or for personal projects I always try to make my work efficient and the final result a great looking drawing. How do I do it? With lots and lots of practice.
In this class, ( second one in the new level up series ) you’ll go behind-the-scenes as I share my process of drawing. I’ll provide you with helpful tips for better understanding of shapes, values and how to go about shading. All for one purpose – to get better at your craft of line making.
With help from this class you should be able to level up your drawing process and from there make art that your friends and family would love to see on their walls.
Here are some of the steps that you’ll go through in this class:
-
- Gather up your drawing materials. Set up your workplace and start working.
-
- Make drawing exercises to master your lines
-
- Learn new things or refresh your knowledge about shapes and how to use them in your drawing
-
- Tackle main drawing challenges about shading.
-
- See how to simplify shapes and use them as a base for your drawing.
-
- Learn all about types of shadow, where can you find terminator and what is the difference between direct light and highlight…
-
- Have fun drawing. 🙂
I hope after this class you can start making drawings with confidence of a professional draughtsman.
For the class project students will create drawings based on the video lessons, two exercises with at least 10 drawings in total. Goal is to relax your art and get into a right drawing zone.
Each exercise is a continuation of the previous one and we’ll have new exercises in the next classes in this series that will use exercises from this class as a base. I hope you’ll like what I prepared.
This class is aimed at intermediate level students with basic knowledge of drawing but anyone who likes to brush up on their knowledge of drawing can watch this class. Who knows, even those advanced students might learn something interesting, see another approach to drawing, try something different.
