OpenShot Video Editor Designed for BEGINNERS
This course will show you how to use the OpenShot Video Editor from start to finish.
Primarily serve as a beginner’s summary, touching on the essentials with just the right amount of detail to
get started, at a good pace especially for a beginner who knows nothing about editing.
Firstly we go all the way to the start line where you import your files and bring clips to the timeline,
I will be showing you how to do that in more than one way. Then we head to preferences where you can
customize lots of things such as languages and shortcuts, timeline adjustments, and especially viewing.
Then you will learn how to add different transitions, animation, and fades in OpenShot, followed by
all different methods of trimming, splitting, cutting video clips or audio, Changing clip duration
and separating audio from video
For titles, you will see the difference and different uses of Title and Animated title.
Animated tiles require connecting Openshot with Blender(shows path). Without Blender, you can’t
use animated titles templates.
Then we will take a look at the properties of each clip and learn how to add those little
fine adjustments manipulating properties’ multiple features. After that, there is Transform
which ables you enlarge, shrink, and move around your video clips on the screen.
Lastly, we will be adding a different effect to your video clips, where I will introduce you
to a special effect (Chromakey) that ables you to get rid of colored backgrounds. At the end of it,
you will learn how to export your project after finishing your work in the timeline.
