Procreate: Solid Foundations, Part 3 – Color Theory and Practice
Enrol on Procreate: Solid Foundations, Part 3 – Color Theory and Practice and find out just how well I can answer these questions for you.
Procreate gives you many ways to choose colors for your artwork – discs, squares, sliders, numeric and hex values (Uh… what?) Procreate also has several ways to use color theory to help you with your work. Well thats great – as long as you know the color theory. Oh, and why bother having so many ways to choose colors? Why not just have one way and be done with it?
That’s where this course comes in. Learn all the different ways you can choose color but also how the color theory can be applied in practice. You’ll be learning, but your also be learning by doing, which is usually the best way.
Procreate: Solid Foundations is split into different parts so that you can focus on the area of Procreate you want to focus on. But each part is dsigned to work with and complement the others, so you build up a consistent body of knowledge. Everything you need to know – the how to but also the why to – and learn it when you need it.
This course is aimed at beginners plus existing users who want to round out their knowledge. But that doesn’t mean it’s over simplified. Nope! You will learn the same tools and techniques that are used in professional studios.
I’ve been in quite a few design studios in my time and – just between you and me – there’s things on this course that I’ve had to explain to people who use art programs on a daily basis. That’s something I can do for you too. As well as being a designer for decades I also spent some time as a teacher and my university degree is all about how people learn. And it is my firm belief that the right way to learn something like Procreate is not to just learn the tools. The right way to learn Procreate is to learn and practice the right workflow.
