This course is an in depth series covering the topic of composition, it’s importance in creating great landscape photography, and how to apply the concepts to your own work. The course will take a look at wide angle composition, and specifically the idea of visual force for foregrounds and the importance of mid grounds, an often overlooked area of a wide angle image. The concept of visual weight will be thoroughly explored and how it applies to any type of composition. Abstract and Intimate compositions will be explored, showing a series of different styles of abstract and intimate compositions. This course will also dive into processing techniques that can be used to improve composition using tools like the transform warp and the liquify tool, and techniques like focal length blending and perspective blending.
