In this class, we’re going to create a short film scene, and break every shot down to see the visual storytelling behind it. With those examples in mind, you’re going to be able to add storytelling in your own shots. Lighting & set design have a lot to tell about characters & environments. We’re going to see how different lighting types and positions may affect the story of the film and the state of a character. Audio is a big part of the filmmaking industry so its story can say a lot. We’re going to see how different types of sounds and sound angles can show a story to the viewer. Lastly, the editing room decides the final story of the film. With the intro, cutting pace, color grading, and many more, the editor can give lots of hidden details about the story.
